In 2015, 12 Macdonald High School graduates will take on our 5th consecutive humanitarian project, this time in India! While the trip will be predominantly a service trip, i.e. working with the slum children of New Delhi, we we will also be renovating the Miracle Slum School. The Macdonald Humanitarian Project (MHP) participants will be spending our time in India painting and creating positive spaces for the school and its students.
MHP will be working with International Volunteers Headquarters (IVHQ) to put together this remarkable once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for MAC High students. As always, it is the goal of the MHP to provide experiences for students that will not only lend aid to the needy, but also to give Canadian youth a first-hand exposure to global poverty. It is through this shared experience that will help our youth to grow into responsible global citizens, constantly being aware of our roles as consumers.
The cost for each participant will be approximately $2600.00. MHP participants will plan and carry through many fundraising projects. Please join us in our our many fundraising activities and events located all throughout the West Island, Montreal.
However, we are always in need for additional funding. If you would like to support us, please follow the links below to make a contribution.
